More Kittens
If you want to see more kittens check out Stephen Malkmus's new video for the song Jo-Jo's Jacket. The kittens are about 2:30 minutes into the song. The whole video is worth a watch though. If you don't know who Yul Bryner is you might want to read about his life and career here.
A little background about Stephen Malkmus for those who care. Stephen Malkmus is the lead singer for a band called Pavement. The Pavement sound is very low-fi guitar rock which in some cases may be called slacker rock though I'm not very good with the whole classification thing.
Now how would I know all this. Well for those of you who know me you know that one of my great loves in life is music. I rarely ever listen to the top 40 bands, though I don't always count them out. I could list off my favorite bands but a lot of them would be foreign to a large majority of the population. The nice thing is that I've found that a large number of webloggers listen to the same stuff I do and I've even discovered bands because of webloggers. Are there any bands you would like to suggest to me? Post a comment.
Wow this post meandered way to much!
Kitty Pictures
Since Nita posted a picture of kittens early this week and since I visited my parents this weekend and played with my digital camera a little bit, I thought it would be appropriate to post pictures of my parent's kitten. Her name is Molly and she is just about a year old. My mom named her. I was trying to come up with a cooler name but they got around to naming her before I could. She looks like an average cat and she is an average cat (more or less). She can sleep for more than 12 hours of the day. She likes to play with little pieces of tin foil and other cat toys. In the picture to the left she is playing with the binder on the floor.
She has a little bit of a gut now because my mom's been feeding her too much and probably because of all the time she sleeps. Sometimes she will jump out from under the couch and pounce on the heels of your feet. She's almost knocked my mom down several times because of that and she's been nearly stepped on dozens of times as well. She is sometimes a snob but is always curious. Sometimes she cuddles and sometimes she attacks your hand. I currently have three scratch/teeth marks healing on my right hand because of her. I know I deserved those scratches/bites because I like to torment her. She is a good cat. She was easy to litter train and hasn't done anything too bad. She likes playing in my mom's flowers and knocking them down. She doesn't shed much hair, which is a major plus.
And that is all about my parent's cat. She may look average and may act like an average cat but she's my cat. Well not really mine but the closest thing to a cat I have right now.
