Free Food and Free Beer!
(Start Semi-Drunk Ramblings)
Troy went out with the welding group tonight. I'm not official part of the welding group but just for tonight I was an honourary member. They had a little shin-dig at a local establishment. Appetizers were free as was your choice of drink. Most peoples choice of drink was beer. Beer (or in the plural beers) makes Troy sleepy. I drank beer. Now I'm sleepy. I think I will go to bed now. Sleep.

Lists
It's a lot easier to make a list than it is to maintain a list. Especially when you have to play around with HTML or any other fun web language. I just updated my book list. I'm sometimes anal about keeping track of stuff. In this case it's the books that I've read. I've been keeping track of the books read since 1993. I read before that but I guess 1993 was the year the reading actually meant something for me. That would have been grade 12 or 13.
Looking back at the list it appears I spent a lot of time reading the fantasy and sci-fi novels of Anne McCaffrey, Piers Anthony, Terry Brooks and Alan Dean Foster. I then started reading the classic fantasy and sci-fi of Ray Bradbury. This ultimately lead to the discovery of Kurt Vonnegut who is still one of my favorite authors.
I'd like to think that my tastes have diversified a lot since 1993 and I believe they have. Currently I've been into a lot of different stuff but I've been reading more children stories. They are fun and easy to read. They also don't involve a whole lot of thinking and at this point that is exactly what I need.
What book are you reading? I'm always open to suggestions.
