Mortimer

Firda has introduced me to a piece of Blue Goo that is friendly and doesn't want to eat my mom. I will call him Mortimer the friendly Goo. Please say hi to Morty. He won't bite.

P.S. I seem to have lost my mind. If found please return to Me c/o. Me

5 Second Stories

I once had a pet pig. We called him Bacon. We ate him. The End

E.T.

I remember when I was 5 or 6 going tp seeing E.T. at the local Drive-In theatre in Cambridge. E.T. was the second movie in a dusk to dawn showing that included Smokey and the Bandit and Jaws (though I could be wrong about that). If you were a drive-in movie goer when you were younger you probably changed into your pyjamas at some point in the night and I am positive I was in my pyjamas by the time E.T. came on. I was mesmerized and quiet for the whole movie.

With the 20th anniversary re-release I realize that I haven't seen the movie since that night at the drive-in. A lot of people who've seen it recently tell me that it's not as good as they remember but for me I think it would be mostly nostalgic. This makes me want to go and see the movie when it hits the theatres again. Ideally I would like to go to a Drive-In theater to see it but there is only one in the area (that I know of) and it doesn't open for another month or two.

Since I'm talking about the re-release of E.T. here are 10 little-known facts about the original and the re-released version. If you haven't seen the movie I suggest you go and suspend all analytical adult thinking and just have fun.
