You want to know what? I love Firda :) She is the first blogger that I ever thought of as a friend because she interacted with her readers (through the Quack-O-Matic). She was the one of the three people who "forced" me to get myself a blog. She made up a haiku about Penguins and sang Rubber Ducky for my during the 24-hour blogathon. She gave me the "Best Guest Blogger" award during the "Weblog Wannabe's 2001 Very Subjective Weblog Awards". She then turned me into an analogy and now I am a fish :)
I'm sure I've missed other stuff Firda has done for me but I love this girl :)
Prisoners in Wonderland
Several of my friends from back home have travelled to Korea and taught English to Korean children. I haven't heard many complains from them about the way they were treated by the company they worked for by I have heard some horror stories. Here is one such horror story. It's about two girls from the States who head to Korea to teach English and end up having the worst times of their lives.
