Surprises are fun!
Today was the due date for my tuition to be paid so I could go to school next term. I took all the appropriate papers into school so I could pay for my tuition but before I did that I looked at my tuition pay statement which said something about me being awarded a scholarship. I think to myself, "I didn't apply for one, how did I get it?" Then I stop thinking and shout "whoopidy do!". The scholarship is for 1000 dollars and goes towards my tuition so I only have to pay 800 dollars more. I'm so happy!!!!
Plus Friday is pay day and I get a big pay cheque so I am no longer strapped for cash. I still can't go crazy and buy everything I would like to but I don't have to worry about money for a while. I might even be able to save up enough money to go travelling after I'm done school.
