"We're Almost the Same Country"
I always find it humorous when I read stories about Americans not knowing anything about us, their Canadian neighbours. Here is another news article about that. The article was brought on by the indifference of George W. Bush and the American public to the four Canadian soliders killed by American friendly fire in Afganistan, and the booing of the Canadian National Anthem at several sporting events.
I don't agree with the title phrase "We're Almost the Same Country". Canada and the States are similar in many ways but our attitudes are much different. I think I will stop at this point so as not to chase away my American readers.
My final thought. I like Americans, as individuals. I'm just not very fond of your countries ideals and beliefs. :) Please don't hate me.
