Random Thoughts About Sex
When authorities remind you of the sinfulness of sex, there is an important lesson to be learned. Do not have sex with the authorities. - Matt Groening
I believe in making the world safe for our children, but not our children's children, because I don't think children should be having sex. - Jack Handey
What a day, eh, Milhouse? The sun is out, the birds are singing, bees are trying to have sex with them -- as is my understanding. - Bart Simpson
Broken Saints
If you like Anime and/or comic books then Broken Saints is the online flash based movie for you. There are currently 21 chapters of the story. I've only watched the first chapter but it is visual and audibly magnificent. I don't really know what the plot is about yet but according to Exclaim magazine it is "set on an Earth tettering on the edge of technological apocalyse". The cast is "four troubled outcasts from the corners of the globe who are united by a terrifying vision". The website is flash based but does have a slimmed down HTML version. You can also download the individual chapters for offline viewing. It looks like each chapter are minimum 15 minutes so you're not likely to sit down and watch all of the episodes at one time.
I'm Done!!!!
I'm almost officially done my Masters!!!! I submitted my final thesis copies to the graduate office this morning now all that needs to be done is a bunch of bureaucratic administration stuff and then I officially have my masters degree. I guess I don't officially have it until the graduation ceremony (which isn't until June or July) but I know I'm done.

Johnny Cash "Hurt"
For those of you that don't follow the music scene Johnny Cash just put out a new album recently called The Man Comes Around which has a cover of the Nine Inch Nails song "Hurt". Initially I thought that this was laughable. In the past cross overs by country artists where never that successful. I mean Pat Boone became a heavy metal rocker!!! I saw the video for Johnny Cash's version of Hurt and I must say I was surprised. The song hadn't lost any of the emotion that Trent Reznor put into it, the amount of emotion actually seemed to be intensified in Johnny Cash's rendition. The video follows a fair chunk of Johnny's life and focuses on the absence of his wife and other unhappy times in his life. Not a happy video. I looked around on the web to see if I could find the video and all I could find was a 2:30 minute snippet of the video [be warned it is 23.7 megs but it downloaded quickly for me].
Give the song a try. Download the mp3 on Kazaa or one of the file-sharing systems. It's well worth it and definitely not laughable. Unlike Pat Boone :)
