Democracy
I've been looking through Google news and I've come to a conclusion. There are some countries in the world which can't handle democracy. They don't understand what democracy is all about which leads to cultural clashes and way too much violence. Maybe I'm over-reacting. Maybe people need to get us to living in a democracy. Maybe once they figure it out the violence will decrease. Or maybe dictatorships were the only way that these countries could be held together and violence minimized (at least violence between the masses). I'm not sure though. I've never lived under anything but a democracy - though Canada seems to work pretty well as a democracy. We all get along pretty well and when we don't we usually don't go out and attempt to slaughter half of the population.
But those are just my thoughts. What are yours?
