I've found some time to do this weeks Friday Q. Enjoy!

FQ TOPIC: Endorsement.

FQ1: Which famous person do you think sold out the most to endorse a product? What's the product?

Off the top of my head I’d have to say Donald Trump with his virtual education CD-Roms. I never really cared for him but why does he have to throw his dignity out of the window like this. He is already fairly rich. Why does he need more money at the cost of his dignity.

FQ2: Which famous person do you think has the best celebrity endorsement for a product? What's the product?

William Shatner. I find it funny that a man who started as a Shakespearean actor (at least I believe he started like that) and then ended up on Star Trek: TOS is still kicking after being stereotyped as James T. Kirk. Unlike a lot of other Star Trek actors he has attempted to break out of the Kirk character. Currently he is doing some Kellog’s All-Bran commercials. The thing I love about him is he isn’t averse to making fun of himself. I like when a celebrity can do that.

FQ3: Which song do you think has best been used to endorse a product? What's the product?

The best song used for a commercial is “A Little Less Conversation” by Elvis Presley (remixed a little by Junkie XL) for a Nike Soccer (or Football if you in Europe) commercial, directed by Terry Gilliam. The commercial is pure genius and the song fits it quite well.

FQ SPOKESMAN: Pair a famous person with a product endorsement that you think would be the perfect match!

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie endorsing birth control, because I believe the world would be a better place without those two. I'd call it an irony-mercial.
