Welcome to the New Year!! A.K.A. Vacation Ends - Posting Begins Anew!!
Hello again. Miss me? How was everyones Christmas/New Years break? Firda and I had a good holiday. We went down to my parents place for four days, got a crap load of booty for Xmas, at a fair amount of food, played a copious amount of board games, and hung out with a lot of people, some of whom I haven't seen in more than a year.
New Years was also spent with friends in Brantford (15 minutes from my parents place). A nice small gathering, with 13 people. We had a good time hanging out, talking, listening to music and playing games. I had a couple of drinks, but not since the New Years of 2001 have I overindulged. Plus I needed to drive home.
We are back in Waterloo now. One more day of vacation and then back to work on Tuesday. We are going to see James Brown this coming weekend. My brother and sister-in-law got us tickets for Christmas. This will be the third time I've seen him live. The last time was eight or so years ago. The old bastard is now 72 years old, and still kicking it up. Let's just hope he doesn't beat anyone before the show.
