Wrong Phone Number

I got a phone call on my mobile phone this afternoon.
The girl making the phone call asked for Charlene (or a name like that). I responded at there was no one named that at this number to which she replied "Well when she gets in can you tell her Darlene called?".
Again I explained that there is and never will be a Charlene at this number. She then says "Please just tell her that I called".
Once again I explained that she had a completely incorrect number. She started responding to that with "just tell her..." at which point I lost patience and hung up on her.
I think she tried to call back right after that but I ignored her call and let it go to voicemail. It seems she got the hint since she didn't leave a message.
